Lisa and Nicolas did not only go on cool excursions with the kids. They also helped creating an outdoor playground for the young children at the Bayasgalant day care centre. They set up the necessary infrastructure for gardening activities, and also brought to the day care centre expansion equipment for the kids to observe and connect with nature.
It took some hard work to prepare the new garden.
But then the results started to show. Here you see some carrot, that came in addition to a lot of beets, courgettes, radishes, tomatoes, and potatoes, with detailed explanations for the children and the day care personnel to learn how to run a garden to get fresh and organic produce.
A lot of new books and a lot more toys and items for the whole new nature corner were added to the Bayasgalant kindergarten.
Who works (and learns) hard deserves some fun too. Nowhere better, than on the new build playground.
