The land was bought about 8 years ago by Samuel, SALT Academy’s founder. It is a 3 hectares land, about 200 meters from the current football field that we have rented from the Battambang airport. Currently the area is used as rice field. The land has space for two standard football fields and for some buildings. The idea is to build a small stadium. In the purpose of building sustainability, SALT really need to have its own football field. SALT cannot afford to complete this plan all at once, but we are doing it step by step. The first one would be to make this place as a sport area with a simple playground and a smooth surface for football training. With the donation by Fabulous Friends we can build one simple football field with drainage, a shade and space for storage as well as fix the 500 meters dirt access road.
